Heat Pumps

Heat Pumps offer a reliable alternative to traditional methods of heating. The two most popular types used in the UK for heating are air source and ground source. Air source heat pumps absorb heat from the outside air. This heat is then transferred through a heat exchanger and used to provide heating and hot water. Ground source heat pumps work with the same principle absorbing heat from the ground and transferring through a heat exchanger to provide heat and hot water. When installed correctly end users can see up to an 80% reduction in fuel bills and also have the knowledge they are playing their part preventing climate change.

Biomass Boilers

Biomass boilers are ideally suited to larger properties and businesses. These type of boilers usually run on wood pellets, wood chips or logs and offer a far cheaper alternative to oil or LPG heating for properties with no mains gas supply and are much more environmentally friendly. Fuel is burnt inside the boiler and used to heat water in a similar way to a conventional gas or oil boiler, when correctly installed they are a clean and relatively maintenance free way of heating your home or business.
